I typically wear neutral colors. I have one floral design shirt I can think of, but other than that I do mostly solid colors. And layer them for a little variety.
But when I looked through my closet this morning I realized "one of these things is not like the other," as Sesame Street so brilliantly coined. "Oh it's my bright striped shirt. I haven't worn that in ages."
I worked at a thrift store for a summer with a few friends between my freshman and sophomore years of college. My friend Lillian dared me to buy this loud, long-sleeved shirt from India. It was cool, but not at all a style either of us thought we could pull off. But I bought it. And I decided, hey I really like this shirt, and I don't care if it's not "my" style.
So here's to today and wearing things you like.
I have your other blog linked on my blog and then you linked this one so here I am. I don't remember that shirt but it is cute! I still have clothes that I got from DI too :) Good times. Way to wear what you want.
