"Ya know, they're actually really great. It's a three star team so it's right under the major leagues. The major league rookies and injured players actually play on three star teams, so you see great players. The crowd loves the team, and the stadium's packed. Probably it was 10,000 people when we went. The seventh inning stretch everyone sings "God Bless America" and they show pictures of soldiers serving from here on the big screen. Then you sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" with the live organist playing. It's the fully American experience."
By the time she was done I was excited. She has a way wanting to make the best of situations for her and others. If someone's complaining about our kinda old apartments she smoothly has something to say that she likes about them compared to other places. If someone, like me, makes a comment about how awful MD/PhD would be, she says something like, "But then again, you don't have tuition to worry about for those 10 years, so in that way it'd be really great."
And she's such a friendly, likeable person that it comes off right. I just admire that she has that on her mind and she pulls it off so well. A good example.
