2 Children's Books

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst

Kids don’t see themselves as acting out or as a “behavior problem”. They see it as everything working against them. I need to try to see their day from their perspective.

The Bike Lesson by Stan and Jan Berenstain

Don’t take my “lessons” to my kids too seriously. Their own experience is 100% more valuable to them then my explanations. Let them experience and learn themselves. But of course, apply wisdom; still teach and help them on their way. But talk less than I’m inclined to. Listen more.
